Furloughed Pub Chef cooking meals for the vulnerable

Pub Chef, Jamie Stone, from Cotswolds Inns and Hotels (recently acquired by Fuller, Smith and Turner PLC) is raising funds for ingredients and delivery of meals for vulnerable, NHS & care homes.

He has cooked 250 meals last week but he is keen to try and reach a couple of thousand meals.

Jamie said: “I would like to ask for your help so we can together help our community during these challenging times. I have been cooking meals for NHS workers and I am starting this campaign in order to raise further funds for more ingredients, containers and delivery to be able to cook as many meals as possible for our NHS workers, care homes and front line workers.

“My aim is to support those who are struggling to have healthy & nutritious meals and this way, give a bit back to them for their efforts on the front line as they protect us all from Covid-19. The meals will all be healthy and made from seasonal ingredients, that will come from local British suppliers to help support them as well during this testing time.

“In addition, any funds which are not required will be donated to Hospitality Action to support those within the hospitality industry that have been affected by this pandemic.

I would really appreciate any help you can give me to make this possible. Thank you very much in advance!”
