Master sommeliers Xavier Rousset and Gearoid Devaney are opening a new private member’s club to cater for those working in the hospitality sector. The club, Trade, will open in mid- January.
Based on Frith Street, the venue will boast 80 covers and aims to provide a new social and networking space with a focus on high-quality food and drink.
The menu has been created by former Ritz chef and Masterchef: The Professionals finalist Sven Hanson-Britt and the kitchen will be open late to fit in with members’ variable working hours.
Rousset and Devaney have curated an extensive drinks list, with 100 bins, a constantly changing selection of fine wine and ten signature cocktails. Trade will also run a programme of events including wine and spirit tastings, bar takeovers and roundtables.
Member applications are open to hospitality professionals including anyone who works in a hospitality establishment (e.g. restaurant, bar, hotel, pub, café) or a supplier to the industry.
